Connected to Two Backbones (Network Redundancy)
Thanks to the physical proximity of Pro-Web Solutions data centers to two of the world's largest Tier-1 Internet backbones, scaling bandwidth has never been faster or more cost effective. Pro-Web Solutions’ Direct Optical Colocation Connection (DOCCTM) Technology places our servers one hop from the high capacity Internet backbones of Genuity (GNI) and WorldCom (UUnet). The strategic placement of our data centers directly on the backbones of these Tier-1 providers allows us to completely bypass the bottlenecks and slowdowns of the local loop infrastructure, thereby increasing efficiency and reducing cost.

Security
The facility is equipped with a Raytheon fire suppression system, designed to immediately extinguish fire and protect equipment and personnel. The command center is controlled via automatic doors to further secure and protect the equipment. In addition, Pro-Web Solutions data centers allow only a minimum number of approved personnel access to highly sensitive areas and equipment. A detailed record of employee and visitor entry is maintained at all times.

Network Uptime Guarantee
Pro-Web Solutions guarantees that our network will be available at least 99.5% of any full month. If that goal is not met, Pro-Web Solutions will pass 100% of the credit from the upstream providers to its clients in a pro-rata fashion.

Standby Servers
Pro-Web Solutions keeps a variety of differently configured servers on standby at all times. If an online server were to experience a hardware failure, we would turn a key, grab the handle on the drive, pull it out and insert it into an identical standby server. We would then reboot the second machine, and the server would be up and running again in a matter of minutes.

24/7 Monitoring
Pro-Web Solutions data centers feature 24/7 systems management expertly administered by our onsite personnel. Our technology personnel specialize in networking, Internet, and systems management and ensure the physical and technical environment of our data centers provide the reliability and scalability necessary to the mission-critical Internet operations of our customers' web-enabled businesses.

Uninterruptible Power System (UPS)
Pro-Web Solutions can maintain our network indefinitely without relying on external power. To guard against local power failures, Pro-Web Solutions employs multiple industrial-grade, three-phase UPS systems. These act as back-up batteries, maintaining uninterrupted power in case of surges or power outages.

Force Filtered Cooling
All of Pro-Web Solutions’ custom web servers are equipped with a positive-pressure filtered-air system. Four large fans pull filtered air into each server's protective case, and the components within are cooled by fans that circulate this purified air. This constant introduction of clean air into the case creates a positive pressure environment ensuring that dust and particles remain outside the server. In addition, Pro-Web Solutions data centers feature raised flooring to enable a constant flow of conditioned air to maintain uniform room temperature at all times. The raised flooring also reduces static and ensures a professional, computer-grade environment for all servers.
